What is Simi Valley Girl Scout Day Camp?
Simi Valley Girl Scout Day Camp is a wonderful outdoor experience for Girl Scouts of all ages! Younger girls earn a Girl Scout Journey, learn skills like fire building and using a compass, learn Girl Scout traditions, make new friends, and have a LOT of fun! Older Girl Scouts learn new leadership skills, work on Girl Scout awards, and participate in some of the fun activities themselves.
Camp is June 17 to 21, 2024 and runs from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm each day.
Registration is open to all registered Girl Scout.
Any girl can join Girl Scouts just so she can attend camp!
Camp is held at a local Simi Valley park. We include the address in our “Welcome to Camp” email closer to the start of camp.
Early Bird cost for Simi Valley Girl Scout Day Camp is:
$120 for the week for Girl Scout Campers
$35 for the week for Girl Scout Program Aides (currently in 6th grade or higher)
Prices will increase slightly after April 10th.
Simi Valley Girl Scout Day Camp is 100% volunteer run!
For our fabulous volunteers we offer:
Free! If you volunteer all week, one daughter attends free!
Discounts off of one daughter’s registration fee if you volunteer for 1 to 4 days.
$50 for the week for our Boy Patrol. This is for boys who are currently in Kindergarten through 5th grade with a parent or guardian volunteering all week.
$50 for the week for our PeeWee Campers. This is for boys and girls who are potty trained but who are not yet old enough for the main camp and who have a parent or guardian volunteering all week.
Financial Aid
A limited number of “Camperships” are available. Applications are due by April 10, 2024.

Training for Girl Scouts currently in 6th Grade or Higher:
Girl Scouts of California’s Central Coast requires that any Girl Scouts volunteering at a Day Camp or other event must take Program Aide Core Training. This is a one time training class open to girls currently in 6th grade or higher. Girls do not need to take the class each year.
- Check with our Girl Scout Council to find additional dates and locations.
- You can also check with Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles. They call the class “Program Aide Workshop”.
